     We are pleased that you have visited our web pages! 

     The mission of the school counselor is to provide a seamless continuity of services that positively impact the development of students through the school, family and community. 

     Our goals are to foster:

• Academic Development - To promote academic success for all students at the various stages of development.
• Career Development - To aid students in the development of meaningful life and career decisions.
• Personal/Social Development -  To encourage and nurture positive personal and social development for all students. 

     We accomplish these goals through individual meetings with students, parent and/or teacher conferences, college information, financial aid awareness, scholarship nominations and information, and community networking.  We offer short term individual counseling for personal growth.  We provide transcripts, counselor pages, newsletters, and other important items in reference to college applications.  In partnership with our Career Development Coordinator Ms. Donna Mabry-Furr, we also offer career exploration tools and guidance.  We are here to help every student succeed academically and personally so that whatever their dream may be, they can fulfill it.
