Attention Seniors and Juniors!
WSHS will be administering the SAT on October 1st 2011 and May 5th, 2012.
The cost for the SAT is $49.00
The deadlines to register are as follows:
October 1st Deadline: September 9th 2011
May 5th Deadline: April 6th 2012
You may register late for these tests, but it will cost you an extra 20$ to do so!
See your counselor for SAT information ASAP!
If you feel you may qualify for a fee waiver for the SAT, please see your counselor!
Seniors:
You should be applying now for the colleges that you are interested in. Please be sure to check and see if you need to sign up for their financial aid when you apply!!
Financial Aid Night Is Coming This Fall!!
Financial Aid Information Session
Parents of seniors will have an opportunity to attend a financial aid information session to be held sometime this fall in the auditorium at West Stanly High School. A financial aid expert will be giving the presentation. You can complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA is used for applying for federal and state grants, work-study, and loans. The FAFSA cannot be filed until after January 1, 2012. Please make the most of this opportunity to get advice from an area financial aid expert.
