Exploring the World of Work

Trying to discover what interests you in the world of work can be overwhelming.  That's why coming to see your counselor is one of the best first steps that a student can do.  We can help you narrow down your choices, help you do research and explore career options, and direct you to outside sources to supplement your knowledge.  Come by and see us if you need some extra help - we're here for you!  Our Career Development Coordinator, Ms. Donna Mabry-Furr, is also an excellent resource for you as well.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance!

 Free Career Assessments at CFNC

An exciting new career exploration tool was added to the CFNC website!  CFNC has a comprehensive career assessment section that every student in NC can use to discover what career best suits your personality, interests, work habits and academic abilities.  Please log on and complete your  profile, and then bring it to your counselor for review.  It can help you narrow down choices based on what career would suit you best!  And best of all, it's entirely free thanks to the state of North Carolina and CFNC!
