Enrollment Information

Are you new to the area, and need to enroll your child in West Stanly High School?

Please read the important information listed below to make enrollment quick and easy.

  • The student must be accompanied by a custodial parent.  The legal guadian must be placed by the court system or the Department of Social Services. 
  • You must provide a certified copy of the student's Birth Certificate.
  • You must provide a certified copy of the student's Immunization Record.  This cannot be a copy from another school, but copied from the MD.  *Students must present immunization records within 30 days of enrollment to continue attending.*
  • Please provide a current Transcript from the last school attended.  This is to establish proper grade and class placement.
  • Please provide the name, address, phone and fax numbers of the last school attended.
  • You must be withdrawn in good standing from the former school system. 
  • You must provide Proof of Residency within the West Stanly High School District, by verifying your 911 address with AT LEAST ONE (1) of the following:

* Signed Lease Agreement

* Rental Receipt

* Utility Bill (Gas, Water, Electricity)* Current Listing on Property Tax Recorded at the Court House

* Home Ownership Proof

     Unacceptable items includeDriver's License, cable bill, bank statements, etc.

  • Complete the Enrollment Forms and Residency Verification provided.  Finally, schedule an appointment with a counselor to discuss placement.  Course Selections and Course of Study Contract will be completed while meeting with your counselor.

 

  • Completing and providing these documents prior to meeting with school personnel will speed up your child's enrollment!
